Everest Expedition a classic climb to the world highest mountain, situated at an altitude of 8,848 m / 29, 028 ft. Great Panorama Treks and Expedition organizes this famous expedition that runs from the South Col and north side ridges to reach (Chomolongma) Summit. Mount Everest Expedition Routes

Our Everest Expedition in Nepal begins from Kathmandu. After much planning and preparations, completing permits and legal papers for the climb a short scenic flight takes us to an interesting town at Lukla with its unique airstrips. From Lukla, we walk through a gradual winding path passing through some Sherpa traditional villages. We will reach famous and colorful Namche Bazaar, where we will rest and take short hikes to its viewpoints. Furthermore, from Namche, our journey continues with grand views of high snow-capped peaks with Mt. Everest along the walk. Furthermore, we will reach a scenic spot at Tengboche surrounded by a beautiful alpine forest of rhododendron, pines trees and lovely views of mountains including towering  Mt. Everest and Amadablam.

Enjoying some time in Tengboche monastery getting blessed from the Buddhist priest for a safe and successful climb. Finally, six to eight days hike and great scenic walk through Pangboche Dingboche and Lobuche villages; lead us to our destinations Everest Base Camp. The South Col side of Mt. Everest is one of the scenic and best ways to reach the top; despite notorious Khumbu Ice Fall which is the main obstacle to encounter on the South ridge climb of Everest.

In Conclusion, the climb is undertaken with much rest and acclimatization including some practice on the ice and rock climbing, our final bid leads beyond base camp with about 4-5 camps to reach the summit of Mt. Everest after a strenuous climb and tackling Khumbu ice Falls. To climb the Everest there should be appropriate weather; good health, and pieces of equipment to climb. Some equipment for climbing include crampons, fixed ropes, various cold-weather gear, bottled oxygen, and weather prediction. After a successful ascent, we descend back to base and with preparations clearing the camp where a downhill walk leads back to Lukla and short flight back to Kathmandu.

Day 1 Arrival to Kathmandu, meet our staffs and take to the hotel.
Day 2-3 In Kathmandu, preparation for Everest Expeditions with an optional tour.
Day 4 Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,820m), trek to Phakding (2,640m), 4 hrs.
Day 5 Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m), 5 hrs.
Day 6 Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion.
Day 7 Trek to Tengboche (3,867m), 5 hrs.
Day 8 Trek to Dingboche (4,260m), 5 hrs.
Day 9 At Dingboche, rest day for acclimatization and local hike.
Day 10 Trek to Lobuche (4,930m), 5 hrs.
Day 11 Trek to Gorak Shep (5,170m) and climb to Kalapathar, walk to Everest Base Camp (5,364m), 6 hrs.
Day 12-13 At base camp acclimatization and preparations.
Day 14-38 (25 days), An ascent of Mount Everest and descend to Base Camp.
Day 39 All members to re-group at Base Camp.
Day 40 Cleaning up of base camp with packing for a return journey.
Day 41 Trek to Pheriche (4,240m), 5 hrs.
Day 42 Trek to Thyangboche, 5 hrs.
Day 43 Trek to Monjo (2,860m), 6 hrs.
Day 44 Trek to Lukla, 4 hrs.
Day 45 Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.
Day 46 In Kathmandu to submit expedition’s reports and optional sightseeing tour.
Day 47 International departure for homeward bound.

Trip Includes
