Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek

We return to the Manaslu circuit trail and eventually reach the spiritual center of Sama Gaou with its monasteries and fluttering prayer flags, where we have a rest and acclimatization day. Itinerary


Day 1 Arrival at Kathmandu, Great panorama Treks staff takes to the hotel (1,350m).

Arrival Kathmandu airport you will picked up by our travel representative of airport and take to hotel and small briefing about trip.

Day 2 Kathmandu explore and get permit

Today is your second day in Nepal and today you can do as your trip plan with our trip planner and you can do continue your explore the Kathmandu city and heritage site visit. Also to day is permit preparation day and  checking trekking gears and relax.

Day 3 Drive to Machhakhola

Drive to Machhakhola 8-9 hours by private jeep or private bus as your plan and overnight Machhakhola guest house.

Day 4 Trek Machhakhola to Jagat

Trek from Maccha Khola to Jagat (approximately 6-7 hours)
Continue alongside the Budhi Gandaki River, passing thru Tatopani (hot springs)
Trek via terraced fields and forested areas
Overnight spend in Jagat

Day 5 Trek Jagat to Chisapani

Trek from Jagat to Chisopani (approximately 5-6 hours) Walk via a lush forested path with occasional steep sections. Enjoy the views of Shringi Himal and Ganesh Himal ranges. Overnight remain in Chisapani and if you can walk you can keep continue next place.

Day 6 Trek to Chumling

Trek from Chisopani to Chumling (approximately 6-7 hours) Cross the suspension bridge over the Siyar Khola and ascend via a forested trail. Reach Chumling, a typical Tibetan village, and discover the nearby culture. Overnight spending in Chumling

Day 7 Trek to Chhekampar (3,011m).

Today You reach Chhokangparo, and we start early in the morning. The top Tsum valley opens from Chhokang Paro, located on flat land. Actually, there are two settlements in Chhokangparo, one is Chhokang, and the different is Paro. You will comply with Shair Khola and attain Domje – the greatest city in Tsum Valley. From Domje, you will climb uphill to attain Chhokagnparo and get wonderful views of Ganesh Himal and Himalchuli. Day 8 Trek to Nile gaun

Day 9 Trek to Rachen gumba and back

Day 10 Trek Back to Chumling

Day 11 Trek to Deng

Deng is small village on the Manaslu trek and it’s takes 6-7 hours all the way forest and narrow trail and you have top be careful when there is mule and some animal on the way. This day is amazing places where you also can see some mountain of Manaslu region and also you can see the trail of famous trek trail Chum valley. Overnight at guest house.

Day 12 Deng to Namrung

Today you reach Namrung where you can use intranet and can talk with your family if you want to update with them. Namrung is small village and where you can have also some bakery items  as well. The trek around 6-7 hours include lunch stop.

Day 13 Namrung to Samagaon (3,530m).

Trek to Samagaun one of the highlights village of the trip. Yuo can have lunch in Syala village enjoying with mount Manaslu, Naike peak, Serang Himal and nature. Today the trek only 4-5 hours if you want to lunch direct Samagun that you can. If you arrive early Samagun after check in your hotel you can go Birendra lake for short acclimatization Samagun overnight guest house.

Day 14 Rest and acclimatization day.

Today you can go Mamansu base camp after your breakfast and take pack lunch with you because there is no hotel and tea shop in base camp. The trip up and down takes 5-7 hours. If you reach Manaslu base camp that will be very useful for you for your pass to Larke Pass.

Day 15 Samagaon to Darmasala

Darmasala around 4-5 hours and you will walk all the way with beautiful mount Manaslu, Serang ,Naike peak and many other mountain and Darmasala there is tea house so you can stay overnight there in tea house.

Day 16 Darmasala to Bimthang

Darmasala to Larke Base Camp, Larkya Pass (5,160m) to Bimthang (3,720m). Trek to Bimthang after larke pass you start trek today early morning around 4-5 Am and you will reach sunrise Larke la. After Larke pass trek down around 3 hours and Bimtang is nice place for everything. From Larke la you can see many mountain diffrent than manaslu region you can see some Annapurna mountain range mount Himlung, mount Kangkaru, Naike peak, Serang himal Manaslu south view and many other mountain.

Day 17 Bimthang to Gowa

Trek to Gowa village only 4-5 hours trek al the way down and now you can see Manaslu south view and Mt. Himlung, Khang karu, Naike peak and many other beautiful mountain. Most of way you can walk on jungle and river side. Gowa where you can have good hot shower and supper delicious food

Day 18 Gowa to Besisahar

Trek to Tilje- Darapani Annapurna circuit trail and drive to Besisahar than if you want to go Pokhara you can take bus from Besisahar to Pokhara and if you want to go Kathmandu you can go by bus to Kathmandu.

Day 19 Drive to Kathmandu or Pokhara

Drive to Kathmandu or Pokhara or own destination.
