Pisang Peak Climbing

Pisang Peak is one of the most popular peaks in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Located at an altitude of 6091 m; it is considered one of the easier climbing peaks among the trekking peak in the Annapurna region. Pisang Peak Climbing rises opposite of Annapurna II (7937 m); lying roughly in between the giants’ Annapurna I and Manaslu both over eight thousand’s mountain. Since it lies on the way to the highest pass of the world “Throng La Pass”; thus considered as one of the technical climbing peaks that offer very good scope for exploration. Furthermore, it rises above from Pisang village and yak pastures at high elevation in a uniform slope of ice and snow to the final summit pyramid.

Climbing involves trekking in the famous Annapurna region and summit of Pisang Peak. The peak will be an ideal adventure for those who are eager to take a journey into some of the less trodden remote regions of Nepal. Apart from regular trekking routes, one can have an adventurous climbing experience. The summit of the Pisang Peak offers excellent views of the Gangapurna, Manaslu, Annapurna I, II, IV, III; Lamjung Himal and other smaller peaks. Pisang Peak Climbing is perfect for next step 7,000 and 8,000 meters mountain climb training.

After a successful summit, the descent made through the same route and trek continued to beautiful Manang valley and went further up to Throng Pedi, cross the highest passes of the world Thorong la pass and approach to Muktinath, another part of the Annapurna Region. Trekkers with little experience in climbing can combine Pisang peak climbing with the popular classic Annapurna circuit trek to have the taste of climbing in Himalayan in Nepal. The whole trip can be done with Tea house trek and only in Base Camp and high camp we have to fix Tented camp which our entire team will make it. In addition, during the end of November to the end of March, there will be snow at the high camp.

Itinerary


Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu (1,360m), transfer to hotel.
Day 2 Kathmandu valley half day sightseeing tour.
Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Chame (2,670m).
Day 4 Trek to Pisang (3,200m).
Day 5 Pisang rest and acclimatize.
Day 6 Pisang peak Base Camp (4,400m).
Day 7 Pisang High Camp (5,100m).
Day 8 Summit pisang Peak (6,091m), back to Base Camp.
Day 9 Trek to Pisang (3,200m).
Day 10 Trek to Manang (3,540m).
Day 11 Manang Rest day.
Day 12 Trek to Churi ledar.
Day 13 Trek to Thorong phedi.
Day 14 Trek to Muktinath via Thorong La pass.
Day 15 Drive to Tatopani.
Day 16 Drive to Pokhara.
Day 17 Drive to Kathmandu.
