Saribung Peak Climbing
Saribung peak climbing is organized for a long time by Great Panorama Treks and Expedition. Lets you have the experience of tea house lodge trekking and a tented camp in a single package. Climbing Upper Mustang and Saribung Peak is a wonderful trekking experience in the remote and untouched land of Western Nepal. We will follow the off the beaten trail to Lo Manthang which is the jewel of Upper Mustang. Saribung peak (6346 m) exists in the Damodar Himal near to the Damodar Kunda.
Saribung peak climbing follows the trail through the Upper Mustang region thus it is the combined package of Upper Mustang Trek and Saribung peak climbing. We will visit Ghar Gompa and Marangla pass and reach Namta Khola valley. We will cross Upper Mustang Valley and Nar Phu valley to reach Sarebung peak.
March to May and September to November are the best season for Upper Mustang and Saribung climb. Climbing Sarebung is a challenging task and only a few trekkers have climbed to the summit. We are currently offering 28 days Upper Mustang and Saribung climb.

Flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara and connecting flight from Pokhara to Jomsom will take us to Jomsom from where the Upper Mustang and Saribung climb expedition begins. We will pass through moraine valleys of Upper Mustang Region. We will view a thousand year old four-story palace in fortified wall city of Lo Manthang and pass through Nar Phu valley to Saribung peak that offers views of Himlung, Bhrikuti and other mountains and peaks of Tibet and Nepal. Return trail will be through Jagat to Besisahar from where we will drive back to Kathmandu.
Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival Kathmandu Airport, transfer to hotel, equipment check and relax.
You will pickup by Great Panorama Treks and Expedition team and take to hotel.
Day 2 Flight or drive to Pokhara.
Preparation for all document for Saribung Peak Climbing and evening flight to Pokhara and overnight at hotel.
Day 3 Early fly to Jomsom, commence trek to Kagbeni (2,800m), 3 hrs. Overnight at lodge.

Day 4 Trek to Chele (3,100m), 6 hrs 30 m, O/n at lodge.

Day 5 Trek to Geling (3,560m), 7 hrs, O/n at lodge.
